Criminal Damage in Town Centre

Dear Residents,

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, a group of youths caused criminal damage in the town centre, including throwing traffic cones and pushing over a number of planters.

This behaviour is extremely disappointing. The planters were put in place by the council to help improve the appearance of the area and create a more welcoming environment for residents, businesses, and visitors alike. It is saddening to see community assets damaged in this manner.

Enquiries are ongoing, and I will continue to investigate this incident. Those responsible will be identified and dealt with accordingly.
